Associations, businesses, residents and others are invited to join this year's Sparks & Stripes parade on July 4. Registration due by June 18.

No Independence Day celebration is complete without a night of fireworks!
Join the community at Levy Event Plaza, 501 E. Las Colinas Blvd., at 7 p.m. for an evening that lights up the skies of Irving over Lake Carolyn. Gates open at 6:15 p.m. *Note: This event will be held on Thursday, July 3.*
City of Irving will launch 525 drones into the sky for a breathtaking show followed by 19.5 minutes of heart-pounding fireworks accompanied by Independence Day-themed music.
Livestream the entire show on Thursday, July 3 starting at around 6 p.m.
Join family and friends in the Heritage District for the wonderful sights and sounds of marching bands, floats and all things red-white-and-blue!
What is the cost of admission?
All Sparks & Stripes events on both July 3 and July 4 are free to attend.

Can I bring my dog?
Pets are strongly discouraged due to heat, large crowds, and fireworks. Please leave them at home for their safety.
Can I bring a cooler?
Yes. Coolers are allowed, but no outside alcohol or glass containers are permitted.
Will water be available?
July 3: Free filtered water stations at Levy Event Plaza. Bring your own refillable bottle (no glass). Limited bottled water also available.
July 4: Bottled water available for purchase from vendors at Heritage Park. No refill stations provided.
Will food and drinks be available for purchase?
July 3: A variety of food trucks offering sweet and savory options. Beer, wine, margaritas, soda and water available.
July 4: A limited number of vendors at Heritage Park will offer food, soda and bottled water. No alcohol sales.
Is there a Lost & Found?
Yes. Visit the Parks & Recreation Information Booth at both events for lost items.
Be respectful to residents. Parking in surrounding neighborhoods is prohibited.
Uber and Lyft drop-off and pick-up location is at the corner of Lake Carolyn Parkway and E. Las Colinas Boulevard, near Opitz Park, 680 Lake Carolyn Parkway.
Uber and Lyft riders are responsible for entering the correct rideshare location into their destination request.
Note that traffic pattern changes for the event may impact the typical directions your rideshare driver is given.
