Become a Foster Parent

Do you have room in your heart and in your home to help the special needs pets at the Irving Animal Care Campus? If you're looking for a rewarding way to make a difference in animals' lives within the comfort of your own home, then this foster program is just the thing for you!

Animal Services needs foster volunteers to help with:

  1. Underage puppies that need a sometime to grow before they can start the adoption process.
  2. Underage kittens that need a few weeks of TLC before they can start the adoption process.
  3. Moms and babies as the moms are taking care of their little ones and need a safe place for the babies to be able to grow.
  4. Dogs and puppies that have been tagged by one of our rescue partners and need a place to stay while they are waiting to be transported (aka Flight Fosters).
  5. Doggies Day Out Program helps our dogs take a break from the stressful shelter life. Take a pup out in the morning to do something fun such as a nice walk or a yummy pup-cup.

Join an amazing group of fosters who volunteer their time to give animals a chance to be loved!

With your help, IAS can provide the care needed to get pets ready for adoption and find them their forever homes.
