Teen Programs

Looking for a space that's just for teens? Lively Pointe Youth Center is the place designed specifically for middle and high school students, ages 12–18.

Shoot hoops or play indoor soccer in the gym, join an outdoor fitness class or hit the weight room. Prefer to game? Challenge your friends in the video game lounge, or head to the game room for billiards, foosball and table tennis.

For creators, the center offers free Wi-Fi and even a fully-equipped Podcast Studio — suitable for recording your next project or starting something new.

Need a quiet spot to study or browse online? The computer lab is open after school for homework or downtime. Or, just relax, watch TV and hang out with friends in the lounge.

Whether you’re into sports, gaming, fitness, media, leadership or just looking for a cool place to hang out — Lively Pointe is waiting for you.

Irving's Got Talent

Irving's Got Talent is Irving's premier teen talent show. Held each year at the Irving Arts Center, 3333 N. MacArthur Blvd., Irving's Got Talent showcases middle and high school students with all types of talent from singing, dancing, musical performances and spoken word!

Each year, auditions are held in February, with the Irving's Got Talent performance in March.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Irving Youth ACTION Council

Want to step up as a leader? The Irving Youth ACTION Council is a student-led group that helps plan teen programs, organize volunteer projects and represent Irving teens at community events across DFW.

Want in? IYAC meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays every month.

Join

Teens interested in joining the IYAC should complete an application. New members are chosen throughout the year.

Summer Field Trip Series

Get out of the house and into the fun with Lively Pointe Youth Center’s summer field trips! Open to youth ages 11–17, these trips offer exciting adventures like paintball, whirlyball, local water parks and visits to some of DFW’s best museums.

Trips run throughout the summer starting in June, and transportation is provided. Space is limited, so advanced registration is required. Each trip is $10, and some may require a signed parental waiver.
