Animal Services By The Numbers
Here are just a few of the things that our hardworking Animal Control Officers are proud of in the 2024 fiscal year.
Phone: (972) 721-2256
Emergency response only after normal business hours and on city holidays.
If before or after work hours, please call the Police non-emergency line at (972) 273-1010
When a stray animal is picked up by our Animal Control Officers or they are brought to Irving Animal Services, staff does check for an ID tag and scan for a microchip.
Animals with an ID tag and/or microchip are often able to be returned to their owners.
