Parks + Trails


Irving boasts more than 90 parks with over 2,000 acres of land maintained by the city's Parks and Recreation Department. Activities available throughout the city include picnicking, hiking/biking trails, sports of all kinds, fishing, swimming, and recreation centers. The city continues to update and upgrade parks, including the installation of free public wi-fi at a number of facilities.
