The City of Irving offers free residential irrigation system check-ups to help homeowners save water and money.

As part of the Irrigation Assistance Program, a licensed irrigation technician will visit your home to evaluate your sprinkler system and identify potential issues, such as:

Programming errors
Leaks in the system
Broken or misaligned sprinkler heads
Inconsistent or inefficient coverage

After the inspection, you'll receive customized recommendations, which may include:

Programming adjustments
Turf water needs based on current conditions
Suggestions for equipment upgrades
Tips for repairs and ongoing maintenance

This is a great opportunity to ensure your irrigation system is operating efficiently and helping you conserve water. Appointments take about 30–60 minutes and must be scheduled in advance.
