Pet owners are no longer required to register their pets, per City of Irving ordinance. However, microchips are required for all dogs, cats and ferrets that are four months and older.
You can help by Fostering, Volunteering, Donating or Adopting. Visit our How to Help page to find out more about how to help the Animal Shelter.
Most vet offices offer these services. Residents can also stop by the shelter during business hours to get their pet microchipped for only $15. Check out the microchip page to learn more information.
