After School Program

Parents who need a well supervised, activity-oriented program for their children after school should give our programs a try. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade can have an enjoyable and exciting afternoon from 3:15 to 6:30 p.m. each school day. With guidance from a well-trained staff, the children can learn new games and sports, create their own special works of art and work on homework. Children also are treated to a snack and drink during the afternoon.

REGISTRATION

To register for the program, parents will need

to present or purchase an Irving Parks and Recreation (IPAR) ID card and complete a registration form for each child they wish to enroll. Payment must be made at the time of registration. Registration and payments also may be completed online through ACTIVENet.

FEES

The cost of the after-school program is $150 per session. Each session is six weeks in length and runs consecutively with the school district's grading periods. A weekly payment option of $25 per week is available at all recreation centers.
