Juneteenth Celebration
Come out to Heritage Park Friday, June 13 and to Georgia Farrow Recreation Center on Saturday, June 14 for a two-day celebration honoring the rich history of the African American community here in Irving.

The Juneteenth celebration kicks off on Friday, June 13 at 6 p.m. with DJ VSOP spinning all the greatest hits.
Prepare to be captivated by the smooth sounds from the Natural Change Band and professional saxophonist Vandell Andrew during an enchanting evening of Jazz in the Park.
The West Irving Improvement Association, Bear Creek community members and City of Irving officials will lead presentations shining light on Irving's great community.
Be sure to come hungry, too! In & Out Burger will be serving fresh cooked hamburgers for attendees, while supplies last.
