December in Irving just got jollier!
The holidays kick off with the annual holiday parade, tree lighting ceremony and drone show.
Festivities continue with free, family-friendly events through the month of December, designed to get everyone in the holiday spirit!

6 to 9:30 p.m.
Heritage District
Irving's annual Holiday Parade kicks off the Holidays at Heritage Series this season! This year's Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place Saturday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. Don't miss this year's "Winter Wonderland" parade as it lights the streets in Irving's Heritage District.
Following the parade, make your way to Heritage Park for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Drone Show, beginning at 7 p.m. Enjoy live music, photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, holiday drone show, iconic tree lighting and so much more!
Parade and Tree Lighting Schedule:
- 6 p.m. | Parade through the Heritage District begins
- 7 p.m. | Activities at Heritage Park begin
- 8:30 p.m. | Tree Lighting + Drone Light Show
- 9:30 p.m. | Activities conclude

- If you find the owner, notify Animal Services to cancel the report.
Lost + Found Animal reports are sent to shelter staff who will post on the Lost + Found page. Reports are posted for 30 days. After 30 days, submit another report.
How can I view the "Lost Pets" reports submitted?
You will find Lost Pet reports and any pictures submitted on the Lost and Found page.
- If you feel that one of the animals listed might be the one you found, please contact Irving Animal Services for information on contacting the owner.
* Note: The animals listed on the Reported Lost tab are submitted by residents looking for their lost pets. Animals listed on the Animals Found tab may be housed at the IACC or residing with an individual who posted a Found Animal Report.
