City Hosting Public Hearings and 30-Day Public Comment Period on Use of Federal Housing Funds

Each year, the City of Irving Housing and Redevelopment Division prepares an Annual Action Plan that outlines how the city will use federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Each year, the City of Irving Housing and Redevelopment Division prepares an Annual Action Plan that outlines how the city will use federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds are allocated to support programs that provide decent housing, maintain a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents.

As part of the planning process for the 2025-2026 program year, the city is encouraging residents and stakeholders to attend one of the two public hearings to provide input and feedback on proposed activities and funding recommendations. Information for both hearings below:

  1. Public Hearing #1 – June 18 at 6 p.m. prior to the regularly scheduled Housing and Human Services Board Meeting, First Floor Conference Room, Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., Irving, TX 75060
  2. Public Hearing #2 – July 10 at 7 p.m. prior to the regularly scheduled Irving City Council Meeting, City Council Chambers, Irving City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., Irving, TX 75060

In addition to attending the public hearings, residents and stakeholders may submit written comments through July 18 by:

A draft of the 2025-26 Annual Action Plan will be available for public review at the following locations:
