Yorkshire Street Bridge Closure

The bridge on Yorkshire Street, near Nottingham Drive, has been delayed until Monday, June 16. Yorkshire Street will remain closed through December.

The bridge along Yorkshire Street, near Nottingham Drive, will be closed Monday, June 16 for bridge demolition and drainage channel construction operations as part of the West Irving Creek Construction Project. Work is scheduled to run through December, weather permitting.

Nottingham Drive remains open during this work.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes when possible and use care driving in the area.

West Irving Creek Construction Project

The first phase of the West Irving Creek Drainage Improvements is scheduled to begin construction in summer 2025. This phase will consist of channel improvements from W. Pioneer Drive to Alan-A-Dale, as well as park improvements at Wyche Park.
