The Parks and Recreation Volunteer Program demonstrates Irving’s commitment to fostering a well-supported, engaged community while delivering measurable improvements in service quality and community involvement.

The City of Irving’s Parks and Recreation Volunteer Program is a vital community initiative that actively engages residents in enhancing local parks, events and facilities. The program has enrolled over 600 volunteers annually, contributing thousands of service hours that support community events, programs and park maintenance.
