North Texas Teen Book Festival

The Irving Public Library's largest outreach attracting up to 10-15 thousand fans of Young Adult and Middle Grade literature each year at the Irving Convention Center. North Texas Teen Book Festival is an award-winning event and has the status of being the region's premiere book festival.



NEA Big Read

Funded by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and Arts Midwest, the NEA Big Read is a shared reading experience for Irving's adult community, which features free books, adult programs and family and children's event components.

Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge (SRC) for children, teens and babies inspires curiosity and keeps young minds engaged all summer long. Participants can earn fun prizes for reading while building skills to beat the summer learning slide.
