Each year, the City of Irving Housing and Redevelopment Division prepares an Annual Action Plan that outlines how the city will use federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Last December, the Housing and Redevelopment Division conducted a citywide survey titled "What Does Downtown Irving Need?" The results are now in, shaping the next steps in revitalization efforts.
Qualified repairs include accessibility issues, air conditioner repair or replacement, home exterior issues, and emergency and major repairs.
The Downpayment Assistance Program helps qualified applicants purchase their first home.
