EPA Lead + Copper Rule
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) 2021 Revised Lead and Copper Rule requires all municipalities to complete a water service line inventory by Oct. 16, 2024, and to maintain this inventory online for public access.
Irving Water Utilities identified and mapped all utility-and customer-owned water service lines. Irving Water Utilities is pleased to report the city has no lead water service lines. The three-year project was completed on time and as required by federal and state agencies.
